This is the third book in the Blackberry Island series, but it reads splendidly as a stand-alone. I had not previously read Susan Mallery, and I’m so glad she’s coming to the store so I picked this one up. It’s lovely and quiet and the heroine’s happiness is not necessarily based on getting the man. There are, however, a couple of really intriguing men. This is a family story, a romance, and a story of coming into adulthood all in one, and I loved every minute of it.
Susan Mallery will be in store tomorrow for a light luncheon and signing, 12:30 - 2:30 pm, and will return at 6 pm for a meet and greet, followed by a book club discussion at 7.
